Haute Spot Review

My husband and I ventured out of our garage and found a really awesome outdoor venue! The Haute Spot! This venue is worth going to check out. Usually we stay in our garage on Friday and Saturday night and play pool and have a couple drinks. We found out an older band “Slaughter” was playing. Yes, one of the last hairbands. We loved them back in the day and they did not disappoint.

The Haute Spot Venue

They are an open air venue located in Cedar Park, TX at 1501 E. New Hope Drive. You can follow @hautespot.live on social media for announcements/contests during the show. It has a hill country feel right in he middle of Cedar Park with some trees for shade and 3 different seating options. And we can’t forget the cooling mist for summer. Up front stage was folding chairs and then you have tall tables for the next section. Also, is a balcony view above the bar area. I read somewhere they can hold 2000 people.

The Ambience

Tall table seating at the Haute Spot

It was a very relaxed and laid back atmosphere. Rock n Roll notwithstanding, the crowd was pretty large and seemed to be there just to here the music. Everyone was having fun and didn’t complain about the metal detectors and/or clear bags no larger than 9 x 6 inches. Met a really nice couple and actually exchanged numbers. My husband and I had a lot in common with them. Her birthday is the same day as my husband, not the same year. My husband is still the oldest at 62. We like the same TV show too. Just incredibly friendly people all around. And it is now a great place to go and enjoy.

The Music Genres Played at Haute Spot Vary

Coming up in order of the Summer Calendar is a Tribute to Tom Petty then Austin Meade, Classic Country Night, 90’s night – Forever Young, Central Texas Women’s Pride hosted by Lesbutante & The Boss, Faster Pussycats, Wade Bowen, Bidi Bidi Banda an all star tribute to Selena, 4th of July with Bob Schneider and more.
